ANNUAL ENERGY REPORT
As a designated Clean Energy Community under NYSERDA’s Clean Energy Communities Program, the Town of Chatham is required to report its annual energy use in municipal buildings. Measuring energy use data allows the Town Board to identify opportunities to improve energy efficiencies and reduce both waste and costs.
The Climate Smart Action Task Force Committee has completed a review of Chatham’s municipal building’s energy use for the 2018 and 2019 calendar years. This report is set forth below for your review. As you will see, the report provides statistics for each covered building (Town Hall, Highway Garage and Crellin Park) regarding Energy Use Intensity (EUI), annual greenhouse gas emissions, an energy performance score where available and other pertinent information.
